    This position will be based on site in Sherwood (Regina) on a 14/7 rotation with 10 hour shifts.

    What You Will Be Working On

    Material Planning & Coordination

    • Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and movement of construction materials to project sites.
    • Review project schedules, drawings, and material take-offs to identify material requirements.
    • Work with project teams to forecast material needs and establish delivery schedules.
    • Monitor material availability and proactively address potential shortages or delays.
    • Coordinate the return, transfer, or disposal of excess materials.

     

    Inventory Management

    • Maintain accurate inventory records for materials, tools, and consumables.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Track material usage and provide inventory reports to project management.
    • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials on-site and in warehouses.
    • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests as required.

    Logistics & Delivery Management

    • Schedule and coordinate material deliveries with suppliers, transportation providers, and site personnel.
    • Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips, and project requirements.
    • Inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and damage.
    • Resolve delivery issues, shortages, or discrepancies with suppliers and vendors.
    • Ensure materials are delivered and stored in accordance with project schedules and site requirements.

     

    Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

    • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, procurement teams, and project personnel.
    • Support supplier performance reviews related to delivery reliability and material quality.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective service.
    • Assist in obtaining quotations and sourcing alternative materials when required.

     

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, receiving reports, inventory transactions, and material transfers.
    • Update material tracking systems and project databases.
    • Generate reports on inventory levels, material consumption, delivery performance, and cost variances.
    • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and project requirements.

     

    Safety & Compliance

    • Ensure materials are stored, handled, and transported in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Participate in site safety meetings and inspections.
    • Identify and report material-related safety concerns.
    • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives through waste reduction and material management practices.

    What We Are Looking For

    • Diploma, certificate, or post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
    • 3–5 years of experience in materials coordination, inventory management, logistics, procurement, or construction operations.
    • Experience supporting industrial, commercial, civil, or infrastructure construction projects is preferred.
    • Experience working in a construction site environment is an asset.

     

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and supply chain processes.
    • Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, or project tracking tools.

    Position: Fixed Term Contract

    This is a fixed term position through to October, 2027 and will be located at site in Sherwood, Saskatchewan.

    The People & Culture Generalist plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale construction project in Regina, Saskatchewan. This role will provide the full-spectrum of People & Culture support and partners closely with the project leadership team to drive workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.

    Working in a fast-paced, site-based setting, the P&C Generalist  fosters a positive,  inclusive and supportive culture, supports leaders and employees through all stages of the employee lifecycle and ensures consistent application of policies.

    What you’ll be working on

    • Act as a trusted advisor to project leadership, providing guidance on People & Culture policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Support the execution of People & Culture strategies aligned with project timelines, workforce demands, and operational priorities.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure alignment of workforce strategies with project delivery.
    • Support workforce planning activities, including forecasting, mobilization, and demobilization for project phases.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to coordinate recruitment efforts for project-specific positions.

    What we’re looking for

    • CPHR designation (or working toward) is considered an asset.
    • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in construction, industrial, or project-based environments.
    • Experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.

                                                                                   Site Administrator

     

    The Site Administrator provides critical administrative support to the project team, ensuring the efficient operation of the construction site office. This role is responsible for document control, workforce onboarding and orientation coordination, timesheet administration, reporting, meeting coordination, data entry, and general office management. The Site Administrator acts as a key point of contact between project personnel, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and corporate departments to support successful project execution.

    This is a Fixed Term position with an approximate end date of October, 2027.  The role will be located on site in Sherwood, Saskatchewan. 

     

    Responsibilities

    Project Administration

    • Maintain and organize project files, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
    • Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and filing of project correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
    • Assist with project mobilization and demobilization activities.
    • Support project teams with document preparation, document tracking, and data management.
    • Maintain project directories, contact lists, and organizational charts.

    Document Control

    • Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change notices, and transmittals.
    • Ensure all project records are current, accurate, and properly filed within project management systems.

    Workforce Administration

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Minimum 3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably within the construction, industrial, engineering, or project-based environment.
    • Experience supporting large construction projects or remote project sites is considered an asset.

  • Onboarding Coordinator

                                                                                              Onboarding Coordinator

     

    Reporting to the Manager of Workforce Planning, the Onboarding Coordinator will be responsible to provide onboarding support to newly hired open craft personnel, ensuring project sites are staffed in an efficient and timely manner. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Operations teams to identify and execute onboarding activities, safety and training requirements to ensure new hires are available to support projects by specified dates. The position will be local on a 10/4 rotation. 

     

    Responsibilities

     

     

    Onboarding

    • Assist new hires to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
    • Assist applicants in using the onboarding systems for training, new hire paperwork and online orientations.
    • Contact new hires to gather required onboarding information.
    • Conduct verification of required certification(s).
    • Communicate new hire details to Payroll, HSE, Project Manager and/or Site Supervisor.
    • Collect paperwork and signatures from new hires (void check, benefits, RRSP, drivers abstract, policies) and update system where required.
    • Verify and validate safety tickets in BIS trainer.
    • Inform new hires of required onboarding tasks needed before reporting to site/work and direct them accordingly.
    • Support new hire with flight/transportation, hotel/lodging information/corporate travel policy, addresses, maps/directions for initial project assignments and transfers.
    • Book required site orientations.
    • Provide an exceptional employee experience by fielding employee and manager questions in a timely manner and within defined guidelines.

     

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business or related field
    • 1-3 years’ experience in an administrative capacity preferably in a construction, industrial maintenance or similar organization
    • Experience working in a high pace, high volume onboarding environment for skilled trades and labour positions an asset
    • Experience working within Tracker, or BIS trainer is an asset
    • Previous experience working in Learning Management Systems, ERP and/or HSE software platforms an asset
    • Ability to operate within an environment where change happens frequently

    Position: Fixed Term Contract

    The HSE Coordinator will work to ensure compliance with the Health, Safety and Environment Management Program, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, and the client site-specific requirements

    Responsibilities

    • Support site supervision with implementation and management of the safety program.
    • Collaboratively work with site leadership to develop and facilitate an overall proactive safety culture on the work site.
    • Act as a resource to field personnel to provide coaching, mentoring, and advice on all HSE related matters.
    • Ensure that hazards associated with the work site are identified, documented, and controlled.
    • Ensure all incidents on the worksite are reported, investigated, and documented in accordance with Bird Construction and client requirements, and corrective action plans are implemented.
    • Maintain statistics and records and monitor accident/incident frequencies and safety violations; assist in investigations and complete related documentation.
    • Assist in the planning and startup of new projects with respect to site-specific safe work practices and procedures.
    • Develop and maintain an HSE communication bulletin board to ensure required documentation is readily available for review.
    • Ensure that safety equipment and required personal protective equipment is in place as required, and any equipment with deficiencies is removed from service and repaired or replaced.
    • Facilitate toolbox and safety meetings and assist action items brought up in the HSE meetings as required.
    • Ensure Bird Construction and client safe work practices, policies, and procedures are reviewed regularly through toolbox and safety meetings.
    • Maintain field presence and document daily observations.
    • Review field level hazard assessments, hazard identification, observation, and inspection forms daily to ensure completion and accuracy.
    • Perform work site inspections in accordance with Bird Construction and client requirements.
    • Facilitate orientation and training for site staff and maintain accurate records of information.
    • Assist in the administration, documentation and management of the Company’s COR program.
    • Keep management current on the status of any issue(s) that may have an impact on the work being performed.
    • Other responsibilities as required.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years’ HSE experience, preferably in a construction environment
    • National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or working towards certification
    • Related post-secondary education or equivalent experience considered an asset
    • Valid Drivers License
    • Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry & Monitor and Standard First Aid certifications
    • Available to work out of town based on project assignments located within Manitoba
    • Have good working knowledge of local government Health & Safety Acts, Policies, Regulations, and Industry Standards as they apply to the construction industry

  • Project Coordinator

    Project Coordinator

    Project: Bell AI Fabric Data Center

    Project Duration: Approximately 18 Month Project, Commencing June, 2026
    Position: Fixed Term Contract

    The Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to ensure project plan administration supports the execution of field operations. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of project execution.

    Responsibilities

    Pre-Construction

    • Support Project Manager in establishing Preconstruction in Progress (PIP) form, KPI’s and monthly updates.
    • Responsible for assisting the Project Assistant in administrative project set-up and establishing document controls under the direction of the Project Manager.
    • Assist with preconstruction planning activities including look ahead schedules, HSE, Procurement, Construction Logistics and Project Execution Plans.
    • Support with tender package submittal, subcontractor tender package recommendation to clients, subcontract award cost coding and SAP upload sheet.
    • Assist with obtaining all permits and local authority permission to build.
    • Work closely with team members and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective project delivery.
    • Support VDC team with Logistic Planning, Clash Identification / resolution and 4D scheduling.

    Construction

    • Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to minimize their need to do task work.
    • Support pull planning session with Subcontractors.
    • Assist with price change orders, track requests for information, review and coordinates approvals of shop drawings, and coordination of information provided and required by sub-trades and suppliers.
    • Prepare and update the project budget, schedule, and cost report during construction under the direction of the Project Manager.
    • Participate in weekly subcontract progress meetings and progress tracking.
    • Assist with updating and maintaining weekly master project schedule and ensure Superintendent look-aheads are aligned. Monitor productivity rates and subcontractor planned vs. actuals in the schedule.
    • Provide support in setting up the billing schedule with the client and execute the billing and invoicing.
    • Support management of subcontracts including monitoring notification periods and value increases. Assist in managing payments, settling disputes if they arise and subcontractor performance evaluations. 
    • Identify, address and resolve issues and problems as, or before, they occur.
    • Manage subcontract submittals.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with client(s), consultant(s), sub-trades and suppliers. 
    • Provide assistance to Project Manager in ensuring project health, safety and environmental standards meet legislated requirements and company policy.
    • Assist in managing of BIM/VDC on site with trades and consultants.

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management an asset
    • 1-3 years’ “hands-on” experience in the capacity of project coordinator supplemented by other aspects of construction management including cost estimating, direct project management of large commercial, high rise, civil and/or institutional construction projects

    Digital Construction & Innovation Coordinator

    Project: Bell AI Fabric Data Center
    Location: Sherwood (Regina), Saskatchewan
    Project Duration: Approximately 18 Month Project, Commencing June, 2026
    Position: Fixed Term Contract

    The Digital Construction & Innovation Coordinator will be responsible to oversee the on-site digital construction related activities on projects in collaboration with the project team, client, consultant, and trade contractors. They will also facilitate the implementation of Digital Construction on the project site. 

    Responsibilities

    • Perform various project duties related to project Digital Construction deployment as required.
    • Perform Design coordination and assist in identifying constructability issues with the project team and subcontractors.
    • Facilitate along with site team site logistics plan in a model environment and facilitate and assist site team in the development of schedule visualization models. Also, video export will be required on ad-hoc basis.
    • Responsible as “Model Administrator” for assigned projects.
    • Assist training other project staff and subcontractors on digital construction related software and workflows as required.
    • Complete other responsibilities as assigned by the district Digital Construction lead 

    Ensure model accuracy for project specific requirements

    • Maintain and facilitate models including structure, interior and exterior architectural elements and MEP systems (as applicable/where required).
    • Coordinate with BIM service providers and subcontractors.
    • Assist in the model development process to illustrate contractor questions and solutions.
    • Coordinate 3D laser scans/point cloud models.
    • Accumulate facilities management related information from project stakeholders for incorporation into digital construction model, as required.
    • Distribute new and revised models as applicable to Change Management documentation.
    • Compile contract VDC close out documentation as assigned. 

    Schedule Visualization

    • Work with project team to develop implement schedule visualization workflows
    • Educate and guide site team on the workflows related to schedule visualization
    • Prepare 4D simulations on ad-hoc basis 

    Consultant Coordination

    • Assist the project teams to develop healthy dialog with consultants and designers.
    • Facilitate the timely and orderly collection and/or coordination of all consultant BIM models and

    The Project Administrator is accountable for assisting with documentations, day-to-day activities, project administration duties and helping to minimize the task work done by the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Estimator and Superintendent.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Assist with project related documents in a timely manner and maintain up-to-date and accurate tracking logs. 
    • Generate and manage the review and issuance of Subcontract Agreements ensuring all relevant documentation is provided and meets Bird’s requirements; follow up with trades to obtain all relevant contract documentation, review and ensure Bonds and Certificates of Insurance are accurate and meet Bird requirements.
    • Process all change management documentation in applicable systems, always ensuring accuracy. 
    • Maintain organized project files in accordance with company’s Project File Structure.
    • Attend meetings and record and distribute minutes of meeting.
    • Expedite or coordinate information submitted by owner, consultants, trades, and suppliers.
    • Assist with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals at closeout.

    The Site Superintendent, is accountable for coordination, administration, and site supervision for construction of the building. 

    Responsibilities 

    Pre-Construction Management

    • Work with the Project Manager, develop and maintain master project schedule with input from subcontractors using either MS Project or Primavera P6.
    • Develop Health, Safety and Environment Plan.
    • Review contracts with the Project Manager to ensure scope of work and schedules are accurate and feasible.
    • Notify Equipment Management Team of requirements for project.
    • Assist with selection of trade subcontractors.
    • Conduct constructability reviews to bring value to the construction execution stage.

    Construction Management

    • Plan, organize, direct and control daily construction operations with direct leadership responsibilities for junior resources as assigned.
    • Fully understand the Master Contract and Subcontractor Contracts.
    • Plan and prepare 2- and 6-week construction resource loaded schedules and monitor progress against established master schedule, ensuring successful project completion within schedule and budget.
    • Develop and measure productivity on site to measure planned progress against actual.
    • Control site logistics, maximize efficiencies, minimize deficiencies of all work including all subcontractors, suppliers, and employees.
    • Establish site for construction.
    • Maintain daily and ongoing reporting to track site progress.

     Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or another relevant field
    • Strong familiarity with contract administration, understanding drawings, specifications, architectural and engineering standards and building practices, including building codes
    • 3+ years’ experience in the construction industry, preferably health care, education, sports, and recreation construction
    • Excellent budgeting, costing and scheduling skills

    Responsibilities: 

    • Building and maintaining effective relationships with existing and new clients and suppliers, marketing the company and its services to existing and new clients, engineers, planners, and other potential contacts, advising clients about new and effective products and services, actively seeking out new opportunities, projects, and clients for Canem and estimating and obtaining new projects
    • Leading pre-planning activities for assigned projects, obtaining agreement on effective
    • project plan, ensuring approved project plan is successfully implemented on site, building positive relationships and a positive image for the company, achieving, and exceeding financial profit of projects, and maximizing project cashflow through careful planning and implementation of project

    Qualifications:
